What is a BTEC HND? Simple. They stand for Higher National Diplomas (HND) from the Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC). They're a range of foundation degree equivalent vocational courses - ranging from science subjects to business, management and media and working with children and animals - that help you get the required skills and qualification to take the next step in your chosen career.
The BTEC courses (Level 5) from Oxford College are fully accredited by Edexcel. You have up to 2 years to complete your studies and upon successful completion you will be awarded a certificate from Edexcel and will be awarded merit points that can be used towards entry onto an undergraduate degree course.
Our BTEC HND distance learning courses are divided into 16 units of study and at the end of each unit there is a piece of coursework that you will need to complete. These coursework assignments are graded and will form your final grade. Our tutor support is available for the 2 year duration of your course. You will be assigned a qualified tutor who will be able to answer your questions and give you guidance and feedback as well as mark your work.
