June Charity Project – El Gato Andaluz

El Gato Andaluz Charity Project

Charity Project

Our charity project this month is El Gato Andaluz. This charity started out as a group of volunteers in Spain. They soon realised that that couldn’t stand to see abandoned animals on the streets. The organisation receives no funding apart from donations and relies heavily on the hard work of dedicated volunteers.

The aim of the charity is to control the stray cat population. They do this by taking in abandoned cats and nursing them back to health and happiness. They then try to find the cats loving and caring new homes. Becuase they have so little funding, every donation really does help and we feel el Gato is one of our most deserving charity projects yet.

We are very happy to be supporting them and hope to raise lots of money. If you would like to support El Gato, all you have to do is like our Facebook page this month. For every new like we get, we will donate 50p to help El Gato. If you have already liked our page, please share it with your friends and family.

Just like all of our charity projects, you can help without spending a penny. All you have to do is go to this page – https://www.facebook.com/oxforddistancelearning and like us! That’s all you need to do! It really is that simple. Every new like donates 50p to the cats.

If you know a charity that needs more exposure or support, please let us know. We are always looking for another great charity project. You can suggest a charity to us by messaging us on Facebook, calling us on 01865 595 263 or emailing contact@oxfordcollege.ac
