How Studying Online Helped Me
When I was at school, things were more about having fun and hanging out with friends and less about getting good grades to go on to University or get a good job. So needless to say, when results day finally came around, I didn’t get the results I wanted or needed to progress.
At this point, I was all set to give up and just accept my fate. There was no way I was prepared to go back through another year of school with people younger than me to try and rectify my mistakes and there was no way I was getting anywhere with what I had achieved.
It was then a good friend asked me if I had thought of studying online, to be honest, I hadn’t really ever thought of it and really wasn’t sure. There were so many questions I had, would I have tutor support? Would I be able to sit the A-Levels I wanted to sit? Would I have to go to lessons or lectures at set times?
The answer to all these questions were quickly answered with a Google search. I found Oxford Learning College and much to my excitement, I was informed I would have a personal tutor to help and guide me through my studies, I could spread the cost of studying over an instalment plan so I could do more than one A-Level at a time. There are no lessons or lectures to attend, I just logged on and studied when it suited and best of all, they offered Fast Track A-Levels, so I could do my studying and resits in half the time!
From there, there was no looking back for me. I enrolled on three Fast Track A-Levels, worked my way through the materials and sat my exams the following year. I’m pleased to say I passed and got the grades I wanted and needed to finally go to university!
