Introduction
This diploma is designed to explore Organisational Psychology. Through these ten units you will learn about organisational psychology, personalities, motivation and satisfaction. You will gain an understanding of how the mind works and develops information in relation to the topics we will discover through the course. At the end of the course you will be able to use skills acquired which will be valued by employers to help understand the world of work within this field.

This course consists of Ten Units and is a qualification awarded by Oxford Learning College, in its own right; with the quality assurance of a leading awarding body (CIE Global) that hallmarks this professional qualification.
Assessment Objectives (AO)
AO: 1
Students must select and demonstrate clearly relevant knowledge and understanding through the use of evidence, examples and correct language and terminology appropriate to the course of study. This assessment, involves two written assignments: one halfway through the course and following the final unit. Both are assessed and graded by the assigned tutor, according to college procedures.
AO: 2
Students must critically evaluate and justify a point of view through the use of evidence and reasoned argument. Students can include evidence in different formats to support their written work such as documentation or images to support their course.
Quality of Written Communication (QWC)
In addition, OLC require students’ to produce written material in English, candidates must: ensure that text is legible and that spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPG) are accurate so that meaning is clear; select and use a form and style of writing appropriate to studying a complex subject matter; organise information clearly and coherently, using specialist vocabulary when appropriate and Harvard referencing of citation and sources. In this Specification, SPG will be assessed in all tutor marked assignments (TMAs)

Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Entry Requirement
Entry to this Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma requires that potential students have gained GCSE/IGCSE or equivalent qualifications and have, good English oral, reading and writing skills.
Advice on enrolment and guidance of prior learning (APL) can be obtained through out contact centre. The course is a rolling programme and can be started at any point in the year. Successful students can go on to Higher Education, including remaining as students at OLC to complete courses in our portfolio of higher awards.
All students must be aged 16 or over.
Assessment
The coursework is assessed through continuous assessment with no formal exit examinations.
Study Hours
Approximately: 200 hours of personal study time for the entire course is recommended. All of which is supported by the OLC Course Tutor, who we greatly encourage students to access support from throughout their course.

Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 1: What is Organisational Psychology?
In this unit you will learn the introduction of evolution of organisational psychology. You will explore the training and kinds of work practitioners undertake.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 2: Personality and Individual Differences
Within this unit you will explore the various approaches of selecting personnel. You will discover the personal and general temperament through psychology and gain an understanding of job success.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 3: Work Motivation and Satisfaction
Through this unit you will be able to you will gain knowledge and be able to understand theories of motivation. How to keep motivated and how this work in relation to stress management. You will be confident in reflecting on motivation as a whole and explain the variety of motivation management such as lack of motivation, assumptions and challenges.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 4: Stress at Work
Here you will discover stress management, how it affects people if different ways, how to work through stress and how it affects day to day life and in the work environment. stress can be motivating, as it helps people motivate themselves to complete a job well, but stress is also recognised as a major contributor to behavior change, psychological dysfunction and serious health problems.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 5: Organisations and Conflict
In this unit you will learn how staff need to feel safe and secure in the workplace. You will learn the benefits of positive working relationships as well as persistence in the workplace. You will explore co-operation, management and satisfaction in the workplace are enhanced.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 6: Group Behavior
You will explore the presentation of team working. You will explore theoretical approves to group behavior and relationships, tension and conflict. You will learn how to understand and deal with conflict as well as understanding relationships and behaviors.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 7: Leadership
This unit reviews and evaluates major theories of leadership and summarises findings from relevant research. Here you will review leadership qualities and skills, leadership in relation to organisational skills. You will gain confidence in the ability to lead and organise others.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 8: Managing Change and in Organisations
As you work through this unit you will learn why an organisation needs to adapt and change too meet future challenges. You will learn skills in managing what choices you will adapt and change to meet economic and social changes within your organisation, remembering changes need to be met for business purposes too.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 9: Research Methods and Ethnics
In this unit, students gain a basic knowledge of research methodology in order that they can understand the importance of critical evaluation of both the research process and also the theories presented in the course.
Accredited Level 3 Organisational Psychology Diploma Unit 10: Future of Work
In this final unit you will gain understanding of the impact of globalisation and insight into the importance of management and employee development in this context. You will review and explore how organisations operate within a challenging economic, social and political framework.
